Today PWC came to our school to read the new Toitoi 29 book. Our tutor’s name was Paul he was tall 6.5  Paul was a big help. He helped me learn new words and taught me how to pronounce those words.  My favorite story in the book is A special person. I really liked it beacause it was beautiful the choices of words that the author wrote down and the picture that the illustrator drew was really amazing. Thank you Paul and PWC for coming to ourschool and reading with us.

                                                Blake NZ

Today Blake NZ came to our school to teach us about enviromental leadership. On our way down to see them i could see vertual reallity headsets and when i saw the headsets i knew it was going t0 be fun. When we got down to see them they told us a little bit about themselves and sir Peter Blake (  a famous New Zealand sailor ) After that they showed us how to put on the headsets. As i put it on i could see lots and lots of fish. They took us on a vertual journy to see marine wildlife i could see different types of fish and lots of other things to. They taught us about the differences of protected areas and unprotected areas. When they showed us the protected areas it was so beautiful the water was clear, they were sea weed lots and lots of marine life and much more. But when it came to the unprotected areas there were no fish no sea weed nothing another unprotected spot that we looked at was all polluted no fish and the water was green. Other than that i really loved the presentation and hope the Blake NZ could visit us again.

                                          Duffy Theatre

Today the duffy theatre came to our school to act out a skit. The name of the skit was called bubble trouble referring to lockdown. The characters were Duffy, Scruffy, Aunty fey, Debby mum, Mr Bervenderven and the animals on the farm. My favourite part of the skit was when Duffy pranked Mr Bervenderven into thinking that he was breaking up ( tipikal online learning ) then he left the meeting. I really enjoyed the Duffy theatre’s funny skit and I learnt that it’s cool to read.
